My name is Krzysztof Salwa.

As a Senior Lead Infrastructure Specialist at Kyndryl, I lead the implementation and management of enterprise-scale backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions, with a strong focus on resiliency and cyber incident recovery.
I operate across hybrid and multi-cloud environments (Microsoft Azure, AWS), delivering secure, scalable, and highly available platforms that support critical business operations. My role combines deep technical expertise with a strategic approach to data protection and recovery architecture.
I specialize in disaster recovery and cyber resilience, with extensive hands-on experience in Zerto and Rubrik, where I design and implement end-to-end recovery solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
In addition to my technical responsibilities, I act as a consultant, actively participating in client-facing engagements, where I present and advise on Rubrik solutions as well as a wide range of backup and disaster recovery strategies, helping organizations design and implement effective data protection and cyber resilience frameworks.

Key areas of expertise include:

Leading Cyber Incident Recovery initiatives using Rubrik, including anomaly detection, threat monitoring, and secure recovery workflows
Implementing Identity Protection with Rubrik, including Active Directory backup and recovery
Architecting and implementing backup and recovery strategies for:
- Microsoft Azure Entra ID
- Microsoft 365
- Azure Native Virtual Machines using Rubrik Exocompute
Designing and managing DR orchestration and replication strategies with Zerto
Building and securing data protection frameworks across on-premises and Azure-based cluster environments

I focus on aligning solutions with risk management, security, and operational resilience, ensuring rapid recovery and minimal business disruption in both failure and cyber incident scenarios.

Beyond my professional work, I actively invest in continuous learning and staying up to date with emerging technologies. I am a recognized VMware vExpert and an active member of the VMware community, where I contribute by sharing knowledge, best practices, and engaging with industry professionals.
